Working with Dr. Heinrichs for the past 7 years has been the highlight in my 30 year dental career. I started my dental career as a chair side dental assistant. I then worked as Office Manager for many years and also completed my CDA training through Open Learning Agency with clinical training at UBC and VCC. I feel so fortunate to have found my forever home on his team! He truly treats his staff with respect and consideration and is genuinely a nice guy! He even bakes us cookies!
Our office trip to New Orleans for the American Dental Association Convention was an amazing adventure. The memory of it will always put a smile on my face, as it did for my buddy Gatorade!
It’s not really work when you love going to the office every day! We are more than coworkers, we are a family.
When not at the office, I enjoy getting together with friends to share a glass of red wine or a martini having a good laugh. I am a bookworm and I love to travel and go RVing. Cabo has become my second home. I’ve travelled through Mexico, Tahiti, Philippines, Dominican Republic, USA and Canada. I can’t wait for my next adventure wherever it may take me! I’m hoping a mission trip is on my horizon.
I also enjoy supporting the “Zajac Ranch for Kids” with my family by volunteering and helping get the camp ready for camp season. It’s an amazing camp located on the shores of Stave Lake in Mission, BC which provides summer camp opportunities for children with life threatening or chronic or debilitating illnesses. Mel and Wendy Zajac are a huge inspiration to me, and I am very lucky to be able to call them my friends. I also support “Operation Smile Canada”, an amazing charity bringing smiles to the faces of children across the globe! Awesome!
I’ve been married for 27 years to Bruce. We have two two children who are my pride and joy. Our dog Marshal completes our family.
